Family Owned Since 1889 - Serving Oregon’s Farmers for Generations
Why Trust Fischer Mill Supply?
Fischer Mill Supply has served Oregon’s farmers, landowners, and rural property owners from our home in Oregon City, Oregon for over 135 years. Over the last five generations, our family has been selling, servicing, and operating farm equipment, both through Fischer Mill Supply and in our own agricultural operations, since 1889.
As an authorized dealer for Massey Ferguson, KIOTI, Vermeer, Cub Cadet, Woods Equipment, and more, we help customers compare equipment honestly and choose the right tractor for their acreage, operation, and budget. Our recommendations are based on decades of hands-on agricultural experience, not just brochures or brand marketing.
Whether you are researching compact tractors for 2 acres, utility tractors for hay production, or comparing brands like Massey Ferguson, KIOTI, Kubota, and John Deere, our goal is to provide clear, experience-based guidance so you can make a confident long-term investment.

Choosing the Right Tractor
What tractor brands do you sell?
- We are authorized dealers for:
- • Massey Ferguson & Hesston Hay Equipment
- • KIOTI
- • Woods Equipment
- • Vermeer Forage
- • Cub Cadet... & More!
What is the best tractor for 5 acres in Oregon?
- For most 5-acre properties in Oregon, a sub-compact or compact tractor is the ideal choice.
- Typical uses include:
- • Mowing
- • Brush cutting
- • Gravel driveway maintenance
- • Light loader work
- • Moving firewood
- Important factors include:
- • Tractor weight (important in wet Oregon soil)
- • Loader lift capacity
- • PTO horsepower
- • Tire selection
- In the Pacific Northwest, especially in areas like Oregon City, Estacada, and surrounding regions, compact tractors are one of the most popular choices for small acreage properties.
What is the best tractor brand?
- There is no one-size-fits-all answer. The best tractor brand depends on your property, workload, and long-term goals. Brands like Massey Ferguson, KIOTI, Kubota, and John Deere all offer quality equipment, but each has different strengths.
- Rather than focusing only on brand, we recommend comparing:
- • Specifications and capability
- • Warranty and financing options
- • Dealer support and service
What size tractor do I need for my property?
- The right tractor size depends on acreage, terrain, and workload:
- • 2–5 acres: Sub-compact or compact tractor
- • 5–20 acres: Compact or utility tractor
- • Hay operations or larger acreage: Utility or agricultural tractor

- • Strong feature-to-price value
- • Competitive warranty coverage
- • Durable compact and utility platforms
- • Excellent loader lift capacities
Why are tractors so expensive?
- Modern tractors include:
- • Tier 4 compliant engines
- • Advanced hydraulic systems
- • Heavy-duty frames
- • Loader systems
- • Safety features
- • Precision engineering
Financing & Payment Options
Can I finance with no money down?
- Yes. Many customers qualify for zero-down financing on both Massey and KIOTI tractors, depending on approval.
Can I include attachments in my financing?
- Yes. Implements such as rotary mowers, tillers, box blades, loaders, and other attachments can be included in your financing package.
- In some cases, adding implements may adjust the interest rate slightly above 0%, but rates typically remain very competitive. Our sales manager can calculate exact payment options based on your equipment package.
What credit score do I need to finance a tractor?
- Financing approval depends on several factors including credit history and debt-to-income ratio. The best way to determine eligibility is to apply online or speak directly with our sales team.
Why don’t you list prices on all your equipment?
- Some equipment is quoted individually to ensure accuracy and avoid confusion.
- Tractor pricing can vary depending on:
- • Loader configuration
- • Tire options (including beet juice ballast in rear tires)
- • Included implements
- • Financing programs
- • Cash rebate programs
- • Seasonal manufacturer incentives
- Our goal is transparency when we give prices, not confusion.
